Happy Birthday Dick! And safe paddling to you. I’ve downloaded the pledge form and will add my two cents (per mile).
Best wishes from one of your admirers,
Jackson
Dick: As usual your creative and ingenious plans are a symbol of civic blessings. Take my dime a mile with you and my wishes for an easy and enjoyable voyage. As we say in show business-”break a paddle!”

Go Dad go! We are all thinking of you daily and are sure your creative efforts will bring the much needed publicity to save the library.

My friend & I ran into to you kayaking on Columbus day along the canal and it was too rough to sign your boat but I will certainly pledge to help. We’ll be watching for you and if you get too cold or weary, we’ll pitch hit.
Here’s my “two cents”…You are an absolute inspiration and its a pleasure to know people like you and Sandra. Your committment to a better Wareham is off the “chart”.
We would like to invite everyone to attend the final leg and finish to the 1000 mile paddle by Dick Wheeler to fund raise on behalf of the Wareham Free Library.
Dick began his journey back on October 11, from Besse Park at the Narrows downtown and he will finish there this Saturday morning at 11:00 AM. He has accumulated all of his miles along the shoreline of our beautiful community.
Blue Ribbons Of Support and Library Signs are available. For more information contact: helpwarehamlibrary@yahoo.com
